I believe local taxpayers should be empowered, not over taxed by state government. In my career as a manager of local governments I have been a defender of local taxpayers against an endless stream of state regulations. My experience helping local governments run with greater efficiency has taught me the value of listening to the needs and ideas of the people. I have the expertise, values and work ethic to go to the Senate and improve our lives here at home.
